Nice bar and comfy sofas to peruse the daily papers. The Bell at Bramshaw, after your bracing walk at nearby Stoney Cross, warm up here. The Trusty Servant at Minstead, toasty fires and views over the village green.

Time for a yomp!

You may prefer to engage with the countryside from your fireside, but give it a go. Nearly all our cottages have direct forest access, so go exploring. Your cottage will have a 'where to walk' guide and the local ponies will monitor your progress. Remember to shut the garden gate, or you will have extra visitors to eject on your return...
