A truly picturesque cottage in a fabulous location. Looks out over a pond to an oak tree and ponies and donkeys often wander past, It felt very tranquil yet it's only a five minute walk into Lyndhurst with plenty of shops and restaurants. The Greenwood Tree was our favourite cafe and great for anyone with dietary needs. The cottage is large and verRead morey comfortable and well equipped. It feels homely and welcoming and has a very pretty garden. A home from home we were reluctant to leave! Hide

Great location , close to Lyndhurst 5 min walk . Not suitable for young children or people who are infirm or mobility issues due to narrow steep staircase with small treads on corners . Plenty of space downstairs .

Perfectly-located, larger than expected characterful cottage on the outskirts of the village. Great holiday & the accommodation did what it said on the tin. Plenty of books, chairs and nooks & crannies. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely cottage on the forest with a short walk in to Lyndhurst and good road links to the surrounding area. The cottage is large, spacious, has everything you would want (home from home) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

A perfect location and a beautiful cottage. Quirky features like the narrow low beamed staircase we loved, but may not suit someone with mobility issues. The sitting room with the television in, is spacious and comfortable and the dining room also has plenty of room for family meals. The bedrooms were pretty and the beds were comfortable. The encloRead moresed garden is a lovely area with both sunny and shady spots. We would love to stay there again. Hide
