This stylish cottage with an additional lodge, set within the beautiful New Forest National Park, is the ideal place to stay with the whole family. There is a wonderful selection of attractions and places to visit nearby, from the New Forest Reptile Centre in Lyndhurst (8.5 miles) to The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu (17 miles). If you’re looking for a family theme park day out, head over to Paultons Park (17.5 miles), home of Peppa Pig World, where you’ll find over 70 rides and attractions. After a full day of exploring, you are spoilt for choice with plenty of places to eat nearby; the New Forest offers a wide variety of family-friendly pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

On entering the cottage you will immediately find yourself in the open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen comes complete with everything you need for a stress-free stay, whilst the dining table is central and ideal for the whole family to gather around and plan the day ahead. The utility room with a washing machine sits conveniently just behind the kitchen with a shower room located just next door, ideal to wash off after a day spent in the outdoor heated swimming pool. The formal dining space with a roaring wood burner can be found next to the kitchen; this is a great space to enjoy quality family time with your favourite meals after a busy day exploring the surrounding woodland. Head through into the main lounge complete with comfortable seating and an open fire, gather around the Smart TV or venture out to the decking area through the patio doors. Heading up the stairs from the kitchen is where you will find all four bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a super-king-size bed and benefits from an en-suite shower room. The three further bedrooms are fitted with king-size beds whilst a separate WC can also be found on this floor alongside the main bathroom with a clawfoot bath and WC.

At the adjacent lodge, you will see that the design centres around a modern open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Snuggle down on the comfortable sofa after a day of exploring the New Forest to watch your favourite films on the Smart TV. The dining table provides ample space for all guests to socialise together whilst enjoying meals whipped up in the well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom benefits from a king-size bed, with plenty of clothing space provided. There is also an accompanying en-suite shower room.

The outdoor heated swimming pool (available between May and September) can be found at the bottom of the garden, with fabulous loungers to relax on and a beach hut-style shed. The hot tub is situated next to the house and is in a wonderfully private position. Enjoy that al fresco dining experience and you can enjoy eating either on the decking or patio - both offer outdoor furniture with views over the vast garden and swimming pool. A games room complete with a chill-out bar area, selection of games and table football is an ideal space to enjoy some competitive evenings together. There is with ample off-road parking provided for six cars. The driveway entrance also has a cattle grid, keeping the beautiful surrounding wildlife off close grounds.

Lovely property in an excellent location, near to such a wide breadth of activities. Unfortunately, it appeared to us that it hadnt seen any work or upkeep or tlc since last summer.

Very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Loved the big beds, open fire and hot tub. The games room was a brilliant extra too. Also really liked the under floor heating in the kitchen. We never quite learnt the art of the aga though! Beautiful location with lots to do locally.

Beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay. If you have dogs, the gate is VERY difficult to open and close - but the property is secure otherwise. The jacuzzi is nice but old and needs updating. The pool is super and the grounds are lovely. The games room is very well stocked for children. The outside patio is perfect on a sunny day. We had a lovely break. Fabulous location right on the edge of the National Park with direct access over the lane. Perfect for dog walking and pony spotting. Lovely comfortable and well equipped house. Fantastic welcome basket was very much appreciated. We made good use of the pool and hot tub (the latter is wooden and a bit old, but works fine) andRead more the garden was lovely for the dogs to run around - not completely secure so if you have an escape artist, take care. Would love to return one day Hide
