Location; Friday arrival day, a two bedroom cottage located along a quiet forest side lane lined with other small cottages and commoners smallholdings. Ponies and foals at the garden gate, and about five minutes by car to Beaulieu village or East Boldre for post office & newspapers. Within walking distance of Hatchet Pond , put together a picnic and enjoy a lazy lunchtime overlooking the pond. Go out of your garden gate, turn right down the little lane which ends at the stream, and access the miles of open heath land and ancient woodland. Truly a real New Forest holiday home.

Ground Floor Step through the front door to an outer lobby with tiled floor, just right for hanging jackets and storing walking boots! Leading through to the dining hall with open tread stairs to first floor. Door to the main double bedroom, with 5ft bed and views over the front garden. Door to kitchen with dishwasher, electric cooker, wood burning stove, CD, views over the back garden and wood beyond. A door from the kitchen leads to a lobby with washing machine and doors to both the full bathroom and shower room & WC. A door from the kitchen leads to the Living room with French doors leading to the outside patio area and BBQ. TV, DVD.

First Floor there is one twin bedroom set in the eaves, with additional single futon for a child. Second TV for DVDs

Outside Fully enclosed back garden, children swing and slide, BBQ, garden furniture and parasol. Fully enclosed front garden, with parking either within the gate or in the lane.

NOTE bed linen & hand towels supplied, guests are requested to bring their own personal towels please.

The owners respectfully request non smoking guests only and regret no pets.

Short breaks are available from November 2rd - February 29th

3 night weekends from Fridays - 4 night midweek from Mondays. (Excluding Xmas & School holidays)
