Location; Burley. Five miles to Ringwood, six to Brockenhurst and about a twenty minute drive to the beaches at Highcliffe Castle. Quietly situated amongst a few cottages that front a forest glade and within a ten minute stroll of Burley village. The local landscape is easily enjoyed from Bramble Wood, offering a delightful mixture of heathland, ancient woodland and dappled clearings.

Property description: A late Victorian detached house, three bedrooms all ensuite, with new bathrooms/shower rooms. Attractive open plan ground floor with views over the secluded garden. Forest walking. From the garden gate, walk up a track for about five minutes and you will find super walks in a variety of settings, from a simple stroll to a serious ramble.

Nearest shop. Just about ten minutes walk to the village shops that include a Post Office and a good village grocery. Village petrol station.

Nearest little town. Ringwood, which has a Charter Market on Wednesdays dating back to 1226 about a ten minute drive.

Nearest railway link. Brockenhurst, about a twenty minute drive. Trains from Waterloo.

Local eating. The Queens Head pub and Burley Inn offer food in addition to several cafes.

Recreation ; Hire a bike from the Burley bike hire shop, or saddle up for a gentle hack from Burley Manor riding stables. Golf available at Burley Golf Club, about ten minutes stroll from Bramble Wood. Being a forest course, watch out for those ponies on the green. Fishing at Turf Croft in Burley.

Nearest beaches. Highcliffe Castle beach, Mudeford, and Avon Beach Within a half an hour drive.
