Location A New Forest holiday cottage situated in quiet part of Lyndhurst. An excellent spot for exploring the New Forest region, Beaulieu and Brockenhurst are under a twenty minute drive. The sandy beaches and bright lights of Bournemouth are within easy reach as are many recreational opportunities, riding, fishing and cycling are all available locally.

The cottage is accessed by a gravelled path that leads off the lane linking Emery Down to Lyndhurst.
Many period features have been retained, stripped pine floorboards, with a open log fire in the sitting room and the original decorative corner fireplaces in both bedrooms.

Hawthorns also benefits from its 'own' pub, The Waterloo Arms, situated at the end of the lane.
Lyndhurst village centre is but a fifteen minutes stroll, offering a range of restaurants, shops and cafes and is also home to the New Forest Museum and Visitor Centre.

The Ground floor comprises, hall and straight flight of stairs to the first floor. Ground floor WC.with washer/drying machine. Sitting room with open fireplace, CD/radio, DVD, TV, armchairs and sofa.
The kitchen/ dining room has dining table, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment.

First Floor There are two first floor bedrooms; the main bedroom with a 6ft bed that can convert to two 3ft twin beds, with dressing table and wardrobe, and original decorative fireplace.

Bedroom two has also has an original decorative fireplace, two 2ft 6 single beds that can convert to a five foot bed.

The bathroom has WC, basin and bath with shower over.

Outside The back door leads out from the kitchen to the patio garden, with garden furniture and BBQ .There is also an outside shed suitable for bike storage. The little front garden is attractively planted and has patio furniture. Hawthorns does not have its own designated parking, but it is not a problem to find adjacent parking in the lane.

Bed linen & towels supplied, could Mums bring their own cot bedding please.

A cot, high chair and stair gate are available on request .

The owners respectfully request non smoking guests only, and a small dog is by arrangement only.

Short breaks are available from November 3rd - February 29th

3 night weekends from Fridays - 4 night midweek from Mondays. (Excluding Xmas & School holidays)
