Location ; Friday arrival day . Delightfully situated in the village of Burley, this charming New Forest cottage offers excellent quality accommodation. Hollyhocks is located along a gravelled lane, where the ponies and donkeys wander at will. One of a pair of cottages, it provides a peaceful setting for a relaxing break at any time of the year. Only a few minutes walk to the little village shops, pubs and restaurants and a similar distance to access miles of open forest and heathland.

Riding stables, bike hire and fishing are available in the village, sailing from Lymington, beaches at Highcliffe, the shopping opportunities of Bournemouth within a half an hour drive. So much to do, or just settle with a book in the garden and wander up to the pub at lunchtime.

Ground floor Beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard, the cosy sitting room has TV, DVD, radio /CD and a coal effect fire within a period fireplace. Leading in to the kitchen with dining alcove, these downstairs rooms are double aspect, so the interior is light and airy with attractive views from the windows over adjacent cottages and gardens.

The fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, under counter fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave, the adjacent dining area overlooks the cottage gardens and lane beyond.
There is also a utility room with washing machine/ dryer and WC

First floor There are two double bedrooms; the first has twin beds that can link to make a king size bed, this bedroom also has a folding Z bed for a child. The second bedroom has a double bed .Both bedrooms have pleasant views over the garden, lane and surrounding cottages.The bathroom offers both a bath and a shower cubicle.

There is also a travel cot, highchair and stair gate available for the smaller guest.

Bed Linen & towels supplied, could Mums bring their own cot bedding please.

Outside The property is set back from the lane within a pretty cottage garden. There is an arbour with table and seating, BBQ and additional garden furniture. The rear of the property has off lane parking for two cars.

The owners strictly request non smoking guests, Small dog by arrangement from 12th September 2008.
