Filled with light, The Deer Hide offers stylish first floor accommodation perfect for couples.With a balcony overlooking paddocks and woods beyond, set within a Forest side location, ideal for rambling and exploring the New Forest region.

Location Fordingbridge and Downton are within a short drive, for local shopping, pubs and restaurants.There are many recreational opportunities close by, Bramshaw & Hamptworth golf courses, horse riding and fishing, bike hire, together with the grand houses of Breamore, Mompesson and Wilton.

First Floor ; The Deer Hide apartment is accessed by an external staircase leading to the open plan living and kitchen area. A balacony leads from the living area, with wrought iron furniture, just right for watching the sun going down with a glass of wine. An ideal spot to watch the deer coming out to feed in the early evening and the buzzards twirling above.

The well fitted kitchen area offers dishwasher, microwave, oven & hob. Dining table for 4, enables this accomodation to be combined with the Loft apartment for two couples holidaying together.

The double bedroom with ensuite shower room leads from the living area.

Outside; A lovely balcony with tables and chairs to enjoy the view over the fields and woods.

Shared laundry facilities available. Rating Four **** Visit Britain Gold Award.

The owner is unable to accept children at this accommodation. The owner respectfully requests non smoking guests only and regrets no pets at this cottage.

Forest walking. Fabulous walking country starts right from the door step, whether for a half an hour gentle stroll or a serious ramble.

Local Shopping Village shop within two miles.The village of Downton which has a small selection of shops, pubs and a small Co Op and is about three miles distant.The small riverside town of Fordingbridge is about five miles away, offering a selection of independant shops, banks, Post Office and chemist plus a supermarket on the High Street.

Nearest Towns. Ringwood, Salisbury and Bournemouth are all within 45 minutes drive.

Recreation There are two riding stables in the vicinity, and also bike hire available at Godshill which is close to the designated off road cycle routes. With two top class golf courses, Hamptworth and Bramshaw, combined with fishing on the Avon, forest life doesn't get much better ( + pint at the pub of course).

In addition, a Holiday Park is located within a 4 miles distance. Their indoor and outdoor pool are available to non residents outside the school holidays. At the same location, you will find the Tempus Spa, which offers holistic treatments & massage. Please ask us for contact details.
