Location . A lovely first floor cottage apartment, The Loft at Forest Edge is a New Forest country retreat just for two. Fordingbridge and Downton are within a short drive, for local shopping, pubs and restaurants. Just outside the property, lies the open New Forest with the woodland and moorland tracks for you to explore.

You will find many recreational opportunities close by, Bramshaw and Hamptworth golf courses, horse riding, coarse and fly fishing, together with the grand houses of Beaulieu, Wilton and Breamore. The Loft is an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday and a good location for touring the whole of the New Forest region. The beaches of Highcliffe and Bournemouth are within easy reach, as is the Cathedral City of Salisbury.

Accomodation;The Loft is completely self contained and beautifully furnished to a very high standard with exposed brickwork and beamed interior.

Your own door and stairs lead up to the cosy living space which has a superbly equipped kitchen area. Water softener, dishwasher, microwave, hob and full oven. The living area has colour TV, DVD & CD

The bedroom has a double bed and benefits from an en suite shower room. From the bedroom window there a pleasant outlook across the courtyard

The owner is unable to accept children at this accommodation. The owner respectfully requests non smoking guests only and regrets no pets.

Forest walking. Fabulous walking country starts right from the door step, whether for a half an hour gentle stroll or a serious ramble.

Local Shopping Village shop within two miles.The small riverside town of Fordingbridge is about five miles away, offering a selection of independant shops, banks, Post Office and chemist plus a supermarket on the High Street.

Nearest Towns. Ringwood, Salisbury and Bournemouth are all within 45 minutes drive.

Recreation There are two riding stables in the vicinity, and also bike hire available at Godshill which is close to the designated off road cycle routes. With two top class golf courses, Hamptworth and Bramshaw, combined with fishing on the Avon, forest life doesn't get much better ( + pint at the pub of course).

In addition, a Holiday Park is located within a 4 miles distance. Their indoor and outdoor pool are available to non residents outside the school holidays. At the same location, you will find the Tempus Spa, which offers holistic treatments & massage. Please ask us for contact details.

Local Eating A short drive to The Three Lions at Stucton, the river side George Inn at Fordingbridge. The Bat & Ball at Breamore and The Bell at Brook.
