Location A recently refurbished attached cottage, set on a forest side location. Fordingbridge and Downton are within a short drive, for local shopping, pubs and restaurants.There are many recreational opportunities close by, Bramshaw & Hamptworth golf courses, horse riding and fishing, bike hire, together with the grand houses of Breamore, Mompesson and Wilton

Accomodation The Tack Room provides very versatile ground floor accommodation with own drive and lawned garden overlooking paddocks and the forest beyond. A small dog is accepted by arrangement.

Double bedroom with built in wardrobe. Open plan kitchen, leading to the shower room.The spacious dining and living area with patio doors opens to the patio area and garden. Recently converted from what was originally the tack room and stables, the cottage is light and airy and benefits from new furniture and fittings.Shared laundry facilities available.

An ideal spot for a get away from it all break. Open up the patio doors and breakfast in the garden while watching the wild deer grazing in the paddock. A haven for wildlife, with buzzards, foxes and badgers to be seen on their travels and of course the famous New Forest ponies that roam past the Forest Edge gate.

One small dog by arrangement at an additional cost of £25 per week or short break.The garden area is not enclosed and is adjacent to a post and rail field backing on to woods. The owner requests that when outside the cottage, dogs are kept on a lead please. The open Forest is only just outside the gate, with many varied tracks to explore.

The owner is unable to accept children at this accommodation. The owner respectfully requests non smoking guests only.

Forest walking. Fabulous walking country starts right from the door step, whether for a half an hour gentle stroll or a serious ramble.

Local Shopping Village shop within two miles.The small riverside town of Fordingbridge is about five miles away, offering a selection of independant shops, banks, Post Office and chemist plus a supermarket on the High Street.

Nearest Towns. Ringwood, Salisbury and Bournemouth are all within 45 minutes drive.

Recreation There are two riding stables in the vicinity, and also bike hire available at Godshill which is close to the designated off road cycle routes. With two top class golf courses, Hamptworth and Bramshaw, combined with fishing on the Avon, forest life doesn't get much better ( + pint at the pub of course).

In addition, a Holiday Park is located within a 4 miles distance. Their indoor and outdoor pool are available to non residents outside the school holidays. At the same location, you will find the Tempus Spa, which offers holistic treatments & massage. Please ask us for contact details.
