Location, a lovely character detached cottage, set in an elevated position, adjacent to an Arts & Crafts country house. Secluded tranquil garden & private parking, beautiful interior offering a high level of style & comfort. Set on an elevated position, ponies in the lane, with direct access to miles of open forest. Under two miles to Minstead village with The Trusty Servant pub and village store, Lyndhurst is about four miles from Toms Lane, offering a variety of shops and restaurants.

Minstead is the ideal place for wildlife watching and enjoying leisurely strolls down the leafy lanes. ldyllic and peaceful, Toms Lane Cottage offers the perfect retreat for a relaxing break away from it all and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside.

For the smaller guest, everything is to hand, travel cot, high chair, stairgates, monitor, steriliser, plug covers, bath toys, childrens DVD's/CD's, bedtime story books, toys, tent, garden games, beach towels, bucket & spades and bath toys.

  • Basement utlity room with washer dryer and freezer. Just right for storing walking boots and bikes.

Outside; The garden benefits from being completely private with sunloungers, garden furniture and BBQ. Bordered by paddocks with views through the trees across the valley, a quiet spot to enjoy a good book.The entrance to the cottage is by a path from the parking area, up a short flight of steps to access the enclosed porch and front door.

Rental inclusive of ; bath towels, , adult towelling gowns, bed linen, all utlilities. Welcome pack with breakfast essentials, chocolates, first night bottle of wine, flowers, quality bathroom toiletries. On line grocery provisions accepted on your behalf on arrival day. Out & About;

Walking Open country starts right from the top of the drive. A mile down the lane leads to the beautiful open landscape known as Acres Down, with views across to the Isle of Wight. If you are feeling energetic, why not hire a bike from Acres Down farm and explore the off road forest cycle tracks or head for the pub in Emery Down for light refreshment.

Recreation The excellent Golf Clubs of Bramshaw and Hamptworth are all close to hand. Horse riding is available in Burley and Brockenhurst .Trout lake fishing at Fordingbridge. Brockenhurst, Lymington and Beaulieu are also all within easy reach. About 40 minutes drive from the cottage. Sea fishing from Mudeford quay, with boat trips over to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Watersports Courses, Water Sports Equipment, Windsurfing, Power Boat Courses, available from Ocean Sports based in Christchurch Bay. Brockenhurst has two venues offering day spas treatments, Senspa and The Bath House.

The New Forest Museum at Lyndhurst give a good insight in to local history and culture . The National Trust property Mottisford Abbey, is about 30 minutes drive at Romsey.
