The cottage had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and in a great location. Great off street parking, a fab secure rear garden for the dog and near to a pub that did good meals and bar snacks. Central for visiting the New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth, the coast and Exbury Gardens ... a must do. Would thoroughly recommend this coRead morettage. Hide

The cottage was very comfortable and access arrangements worked smoothly. The cottage is well equipped and the heating was already on at the right temperature when we arrived. The location is ideal for visiting the New Forest. The house is very good looking and nicely decorated with attention. There is a rather big garden, but no comfortable garden furniture, which is regrettable.

Perfect location to many places. For thr dog, there was a secluded garden. Everton recreational ground is about half a mile away, up Frys Lane and walk through Everton Pavillion. Off lead and welcome. Lovely kitchen with all amenities. Beautiful flag stones. We went to the Plough Inn for an evening meal. Lovely hosts and a children's play area. The property is situated in a great location, making it a good base to explore the area. A good sized property with a lovely enclosed garden which is safe for dogs. We would of preferred to have known before we arrived that dogs aren't allowed upstairs. People should be made aware of this before booking.

Slightly disappointing holiday cottage as the photos on the website do not show the house as it is currently - furniture and decor is in need of TLC. Kitchen equipment is all very used or borderline dirty. Some lights / lamps not working. Lounge is much smaller in real life, only room for three adults to sit on the sofas which would be a problemRead more as the house can sleep five adults. Only four dining chairs around table but in photo it shows six. Garden overgrown, especially around drive entrance.

Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Whilst the kitchen table only has 4 chairs, the dining room accommodates 6 guests. The sitting room is cosy but can seat 5 people
