Situated just two miles from the charming riverside town of Fordingrbidge, this property is within easy reach of independent shops and local amenities. For those guests seeking a spot of culture, the historic city of Salisbury with its impressive cathedral is half an hour’s drive away. Stepping through the garden gate of the property, guests will find themselves in the heart of the New Forest. Explore the countryside on bike or foot along some excellent trails and of course keep an eye out for the New Forest ponies that surround the property.

The delightful open-plan kitchen diner has a warm and inviting feel thanks to the range cooker and stone tiles that add to the countryside charm of this property. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials and there is a spacious dining area which seats ten that is perfect for entertaining. The conservatory is a wonderful spot for curling up with a good book, or sitting back and watching the wildlife in the enchanting garden. The conservatory doors lead out onto a beautiful rear garden with a lawn and BBQ area that’s perfect for al fresco dining. There is also a cloakroom on this floor that provides a great space for storing those muddy boots and coats after a day spent exploring the New Forest. The wooden floor of the lounge adds to the room’s character as does the brickwork fireplace that’s a central feature to the room.

The accommodation offers five impressive bedrooms. on the first floor you will find the master bedroom which is a good-size and contains a double bed as well as an en-suite with a shower. There is a further double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a further bedroom with one single bed. On the ground floor is another twin bedroom. There is a main bathroom with a bath and shower that perfectly completes the accommodation which is ideal for large groups.

A few cobwebs but overall cleanliness very good. Water temperature was scolding out of taps so dangerous for not only little hands but adults too in showers. Kitchen set up was absolutely brilliant!! Our stay at Forest Corner was fabulous, the house is wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything better. The location is ideal for walks, Salisbury is only 20 minutes drive away. We are looking to rebook llater in the year.

Forest Corner was amazing there was 9 adults (3 generations) and a dog celebrating my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. This is a wonderful property located it a beautiful part of the new forest. The ponies literally graze outside the garden gate. The property is spacious, very clean and well provisioned. A beautiful character filled place with plenty of bedrooms and living spaces for a larger group. We were a group of adults using the house and we found the kitchen very well equipped. Very comfortable for six.. might have been a squeeze with more. The weather was great so we enjoyed using the conservatory and garden furniture. Great location for walks, the pub and access to For.dinbridge.

The perfect base for our weekend away; clean, comfortable and welcoming. Only a couple of minor improvements. The potato masher is not really fit for Purpose as it bends when you try to push on it and maybe also different window coverings in the bathrooms. This cottage was ideally suited for our long weekend in the New Forest with all the family, six adults one baby and one dog! It was very spacious but also cozy and comfortable. The location was excellent for walking in the Forest. The ponies and donkeys at the front gate were also a very welcome sight.

Forest Corner is a delightful family house. It has a good atmosphere, we immediately felt at home. Very convenient position. To wake in the morning and see a donkey outside the garden was a really treat. Another morning 5 ponies and further delight a herd of cow's and their calves went passed the property.
