About this Gorley Holiday Cottage: A stylish and comfortable holiday bolthole for two in the New Forest. This self catering holiday accommodation is a single storey attached cottage forming part of a larger barn conversion, benefiting from its own patio garden and paddock views. The relaxing interior is surprisingly light and bright with character features of exposed beams and brickwork, beautifully presented with every creature comfort for a rejuvenating break away. Wood burning fire for winter, sunny garden for summer afternoons. Ponies, foals, donkeys and cattle outside in the lane, making their daily foraging trips along the hedgerows.
Location: Within the New Forest National Park, the hamlet of North Gorley is home to the Royal Oak pub, the Gorley Tea Rooms and Little Mere fine dining restaurant, all within easy walking distance from Jenny Wrens. Complete with ponies and foals at the gate, the holiday cottage is just over 4 miles from the market town of Ringwood and about 2 miles to Fordingbridge; a great spot for cycling and walking, close to the network of surfaced forest trails.
Outside: Parking in the shared drive, little front garden with bench, a path leads to the rear patio style garden. Garden furniture, parasol, the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco breakfast.
Rental inclusive of: bath towels (not beach), tea towels, all bed linen, utilities and winter fire wood. NFL rating 4 star, personally inspected.
The owner is unable to accept children at this accommodation. The owner respectfully requests non smoking guests only and regrets no pets.
Arrival time - after 3.30pm please, departure time - morning by 10.30am please.

Forest Walking. A scenic walk along the lane to Buddle Hill leads you on to Hyde Common. Forest walking from nearby designated parking areas, Latchmere Bottom at Ogdens, Abbotts Well at Frogham (drop in to the Foresters Arms.) Both less than a five minute drive from Jenny Wrens.
Nearest little shops: Fordingbridge 3 miles, Hyde village shop, 1 mile. Sample the delights of Hockeys farm shop, 1 mile up the road at South Gorley.
Local dining: Within easy walking distance; The Royal Oak pub, the Little Mere Restaurant and Gorley Tea rooms. Easily within a 5-10 minute drive, the Three Lions at Stuckton. Alice Lisle pub at Rockford, The Old Beams, Ibsley.

Golf: At Lyndhurst, Bramshaw and Hamptworth. All about 20-30 minute drive.
Bike hire: At Sandy Balls Cycle Centre, Godshill, 10 minutes drive.
Worth a visit: Breamore House, about a 10 minute drive.
Best beach. Highcliffe Castle beach, Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach. Within a 30 minute drive.
