About this holiday cottage:  sleeps 2.  Four **** Visit Britain Gold Award.  Regret no pets.  Friday start day for 7 nights.  Short break start days on request.

Location:  A recently refurbished detached period barn set on a forest side location.  Fordingbridge and Downton are within a short drive, for local shopping, pubs and restaurants.  There are many recreational opportunities close by - Bramshaw and Hamptworth golf courses, horse riding and fishing, bike hire, together with the grand houses of Breamore, Mompesson and Wilton.

Ground floor:  The front door leads throught the kitchen/dining area, with oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave.  The open plan sitting area features a floor to ceiling window, with a feature staircase to access the mezzanine upper floor.  TV, DVD, Freeview box.

First Floor:  Mezzanine double bedroom with ensuite shower room.

Outside:  There is a private patio with garden furniture and to the side of the property a designated parking space.  Shared laundry facilities available.

This accommodation can be combined with The Loft or The Tack room for couples wishing to holiday together.

Forest walking.  Fabulous walking country starts right from the door step, whether for a half an hour gentle stroll or a serious ramble.

Nearest Pub.  The Woodfalls Inn, under a five minute drive.  The Royal Oak at Fritham, about a ten minute drive.

Local Shopping.  Village shop within two miles.  The small riverside town of Fordingbridge is about five miles away, offering a selection of independent shops, banks, Post Office and chemist plus a supermarket on the High Street.

Nearest Towns.  Ringwood, Salisbury and Bournemouth are all within 45 minutes drive.

Recreation.  There are two riding stables in the vicinity, and also bike hire available at Godshill which is close to the designated off road cycle routes.  With two top class golf courses, Hamptworth and Bramshaw, combined with fishing on the Avon, forest life doesn't get much better (+ pint at the pub of course).
