A stylish conversion lies behind the quiet exterior of this pretty attached holiday cottage in Lyndhurst. All newly decorated and furnished with a soft palette of muted hues, creating a relaxing holiday atmosphere.  A feature of Willow Wood cottage is the ground floor master bedroom and ensuite shower room.  An ideal holiday cottage for all seasons, cosy evenings around the wood burner and summer afternoons in the garden room.  Smaller guests most welcome, an excellent choice for families with little ones.

Location:  Hidden away in a quiet residential lane, yet only moments from the grazing ponies and the green and leafy byways of the open forest.  Only a gentle stroll of about ten minutes brings you to Lyndhurst village, which offers an excellent choice of local restaurants, little shops and cafes.  To view what's what, Click on ' On your Doorstep' above.

Ground Floor

• Sitting room: The front door leads in to the cosy sitting room. Woodburning stove, 22" LCD TV, DVD.  Two large squashy sofas for curling up with a book.
• Dining area:  Open plan area with cottage style stairs to the first floor. Table and chairs for six. Leading from this dining hall:
• Bedroom one:  A spacious room with exposed rafters and sky lights. Five foot wide bed, wardrobe, 40" wall mounted LCD TV, DVD. Two leather arm chairs create a an additional sitting area.  Space for a travel cot.  Ensuite shower room, basin, double size shower, WC.Chrome towel rail, illuminated mirror.
• Inner passage way leads to:
• Family bathroom:  bath with shower attachment (fixed or hand held).  Glass shower screen, wash basin and WC.
• Kitchen:  A galley kitchen with everything to hand and double doors out to the patio. Gas hob, electric single oven.  Under counter fridge, dishwasher, microwave, DAB radio.
• Utility room. Small under counter freezer, washing machine.
• Garden room:  A great entertaining area leading directly in to the enclosed garden.  Dining table for six.

First floor:

• Bedroom two:  4ft 6" double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers
• Bedroom three:  twin bedroom, 2 x 3ft wide beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers

Outside:  There is an attractive holiday cottage style back garden with lawn and paved patio area with garden furniture and parasol for al fresco dining.  The garden is fully enclosed with a gated side entrance.  To the front of the cottage there is a gravelled parking area with additional easy parking in the lane.

Rental inclusive of:  All utilities, towels (exception of beach towels) and bed linen (with the except of cot linen).  Logs in winter.  Rating 5 star.  Personally inspected.

Arrival time 3.30pm. Departure time 10 am.

Forest Walking. Endless walks from across the road where the open New Forest stretches before you. A gentle amble or a full yomp to Brockenhurst or Beaulieu.

Nearest Shop:  Lyndhurst village, about a ten minute walk. A small Budgens, good butcher, chemist and numerous other small shops.

Nearest little towns.  Within a 25 minute drive, Lymington, set by the Solent, Marinas, cobbled quay and excellent saturday market. Isle of Wight ferry. Big Town, Southampton, about a twenty minute drive from the cottage.

Nearest railway station.  Southampton, Lyndhurst Road Ashurst or Brockenhurst.

Local eating.  Plenty of choice within easy walking distance, Italian, Indian, Chinese, bar food, cafes.The Pergola Italian Restaurant, less than a five minute walk away.

Riding at Ford Farm Stables at Brockenhurst

Golf. At The New Forest Golf Club Lyndhurst, a five minute walk from Willow Wood. A short drive to Bramshaw and Hamptworth.

Bike hire. From Country Lanes or Cycle Ex at Brockenhurst.AA Bike hire Lyndhurst.Access the extensive designated cycle tracks that radiate across the forest.

Worth a visit.  Furzey Gardens Minstead.The New Forest Centre and Museum in Lyndhurst village. Both open daily throughout the year.

Best beach.  Highcliffe Castle beach, Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach, within a fourty minute drive.
