Welcome to The New Forest or Nova Foresta as William The Conqueror called his new hunting ground when he requisitioned the area in around 1079. Fast forward over nine hundred years and how on earth have these 145 square miles of unspoilt English Landscape survived intact and where did all these ponies come from.
