What a great place to stay. Lots of room for a family group of 6 adults and 3 children. Good facilities and a great garden for sitting out in. A lovely cottage in a very convenient location. Close to local shops and a short step to the beautiful forest. The busy road at the front of the cottage didnt impact us at all. The back garden was so peaceful, regularly visited by deer, much to the delight of the family.

We loved the property! Stayed for 3 nights, two families totalling 4 adults and 3 children aged 4, 11 and 13. The location is brilliant, you feel like youre in the countryside because youre surrounded by green space but youre also an easy, level walk to Lyndhurst high street with plenty of shops, pubs, ice cream etc. The house has LOADS of space inRead moreside and out, we loved the decor and furnishings. The house is large but not as large as illustrated in the photo, the big room on the left belongs next door.

We had a lovely Christmas holiday with extended family from France. There was plenty of room for all of us. It was wonderfully warm and cozy, and the village being so close and all decorated for the season was an added bonus.

Lots of room in the house, parking for two cars but a large free carpark across the road if needed. Great location, five minute walk to all the amenities that Lyndhurst offers, which is a lot! Yes there is a constant flow of traffic through the village but the house is set back from the road and we really werent aware of traffic noise inside.

Enjoyed a great New Forest break with our 3,5 year old. Walking distance to everything you will need. Deer in the back garden and horses just across the road. Playground at the end of the garden a bit hit. Parking for one car no problems second car gets more complicated. Extremely comfortable accommodation, our little girl adored the rooms in the aRead morettic. Just a cautionary note there is a lot of construction happening at what was the Lyndhurst Park Hotel which could impact your stay. Hide

This was a lovely house perfect for our stay. We were 3 couples and an 18 month old, so the set up of the rooms worked well. The large communal garden was great for the toddler to run around in in a safe space, and we were only a short walk to the local swings.
