This property on the Beaulieu Estate is full of character, with its large open fire being the centrepiece of the open-plan ground floor. The annexe is situated by the Beaulieu River which offers a range of water sports and, being in the New Forest National Park, other activities are not hard to come by. Bring your dogs and enjoy the many scenic walking routes and, at the end of the day, return to this charming property for a relaxing evening.
With room for four people and two dogs, it is a great place for a family getaway or a group holiday. The property has an open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner which is perfect for cooking up a tasty treat at the end of a fun day exploring. Choose to eat at the dining table or dine alfresco on the outside terrace to soak up the last of the evening rays. Up the spiral staircase, you'll find the large bedroom with a super king-size bed and a single bed separated by a wardrobe. Up the ladder-style steps to a mezzanine floor, there is a second single bed offering great views out to the river.
Just 1 mile away, Beaulieu is home to the oldest monorail in England. For a fun day out, hop aboard and enjoy the grounds from a new angle before ending up at the famous National Motor Museum. The museum is a great day out for all ages, with dress-up opportunities for kids and a Top Gear exhibition featuring some iconic cars from the TV series. For a slower paced option, take the river path out to Buckler's Hard and treat yourself to a cream tea at the end of the 2-mile walk.
