A strong woodland theme runs throughout the property, acting as a constant reminder of your fabulous location. After a day of exploring, snuggle together on the sofa in front of the roaring wood burner. Enjoy a meal for two at the dining table next to the window in the kitchen/diner, or on a summer’s evening, dine alfresco on the decked area that wraps around the property.
Beaulieu, meaning ‘beautiful place’, really is one of the New Forest’s hidden gems. You’ll find plenty to do in the picturesque 13th-century village; potter along the high street with its cute boutiques and quaint tea rooms, enjoy a picnic on the banks of the river and explore the impressive grounds of Palace House. Within the grounds you’ll also find the National Motor Museum, which houses a collection of 250 vehicles including those from the worlds of racing and motorsport. Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway (5 miles) also makes a delightful day out; wander through the colourful, themed gardens before taking a ride on the steam railway.
