The pretty town of Lymington is well worth exploring. You’ll find a great selection of independent eateries and on Saturdays, there’s a fantastic street market with over 100 stalls. If you’re into outdoor swimming, then the seawater baths are a must (2 miles). Located near the yacht club, they’re the oldest in the UK and date back to 1833. Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway (11.5 miles) makes a relaxing afternoon excursion. Stroll through the colourful themed gardens packed with rhododendrons and azaleas before taking a ride on the narrow-gauge steam railway.
