The quaint village of Sway has some delightful independent eateries and traditional pubs. From here it’s easy to hop on a train to Bournemouth or Southampton (approximately 25 minutes). You’ll find plenty to see and do in Beaulieu. The pretty village houses the National Motor Museum in the impressive grounds of Palace House. From here you can take a 2-mile riverside stroll to the historic hamlet of Buckler’s Hard. The secluded sands of Highcliffe Beach are just 6.5 miles away and here you can explore the elegant Grade I listed mansion, once inhabited by Mr Selfridge.
