Attractive holiday home which lies within easy reach of bustling Christchurch (1.5 miles to the south) and the picturesque New Forest, Bransgore being 3 miles to the west. It’s ideal for both families and small groups looking for a generously proportioned base. Further afield, yet within easy reach, are the charming fishing ports of Mudeford; which can be found 3 miles to the south east, perfect for crabbing with the children, whilst Bournemouth with its miles of golden sands can be found 7 miles to the south west. The village of Burton benefits from a village shop, perfect for stocking-up on essentials, and four pubs; all of which can be found within 1 mile.

The property has been well cared for by the owners and boasts generous living accommodation, with an impressive lounge/dining room featuring three comfy sofas, a Smart TV, dining table with six chairs and sliding patio doors leading out onto the enclosed garden. The kitchen is well-equipped and features ample worktop space for rustling up a hearty meal after a long day on the beach, ideal for a quick breakfast. Stairs rise to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, with the primary bedroom featuring a generous king-size bed and fully tiled en-suite shower room, plus a further double bedroom in addition to the bathroom which features a bath with shower over.

The garden is both enclosed and sunny, accessed to the side of the house via a gate and from the house via the lounge. This outdoor space is perfectly suited to al fresco dining thanks to wooden garden furniture and an attractive patio area.

The property was well presented, comfortable, spacious and, quite simply, ideal. The location is superb for exploring Christchurch, the New Forest, the coast and historic towns and cities are within easy reach. The welcome pack provided by Lynne and Martin was amazingly generous and most comprehensive. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Could not fault the property it is certainly worth it's 5 star rating. It is spacious, extremely clean and tidy, the garden private and practical and the hosts Martin and Lynne both extremely friendly and hospitable. Even though this property is adjoining to theirs you did not lose any privacy. They also had suggestions for local places to visit. WRead moreould certainly recommend the Tall Trees walk at Brockenhurst and the beaches of Avon and Highcliff. Hide

The cottage was very comfortable and the welcome treats were brilliant. Our hosts went out of their way to make us welcome and we had a fantastic break , just what we needed.

When we arrived at the accommodation we were blown away with it and the location. Lynne and Martin were there to greet us and show us around and couldn't have been more welcoming. The owners made us feel very welcome to stay in their beautiful, spacious holiday home. Their advise regarding places to visit and the best beach to frequent was invaluable. They made every effort to make our holiday both enjoyable and memorable.

We had a wonderful week staying at Squirrels! Lynne and Martin were wonderful and welcoming hosts and very generous with the welcome goodies they gave us. The house was clean, incredibly spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Brook End was brilliant for my family! The large enclosed garden with the swing was a hit with my children, and the spacious and well appointed interiors were excellent. Our hosts were wonderful people, so helpful and friendly. If we come back to Christchurch, we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone!

A first class property, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent accommodation, a real home from home, everything you could possibly want, very clean and comfortable, an excellent base for sea and the new forest.
