The surrounding heathland is wild and inviting with pockets of woodland and meandering rivers, and it is also a playground for kayaking, canoeing, abseiling and much more. Golf, fishing and motorsports may prove tempting, so head in the direction of Beaulieu to visit the Motor Museum, 8 miles away, choose from two golf courses within 5 miles, or purchase a permit and find a good place to cast your line.

We stayed in the flat during a heat wave. The flat only has windows on one side facing another building so there was very little breeze/ cooling. Fortunately the owners had provided fans. We found the bed was quite small and uncomfortable and suggested a mattress topper, the heat wasnt helpful for sleeping though. Car parking space was usefRead moreul although quite a walk on a busy road with luggage and later rubbish for the bin store ( we knew that before we booked). A cafe worker was using the space when we arrived but we asked in the shop back entrance and they moved straight away. Overall new forest was lovely escape and we spent a lot of time outdoors. This was a lovely flat that is superbly equipped and very well presented. The location is brilliant with most amenities within a short walk. It has allocated parking at the rear but, unfortunately, there is no rear access from the flat so you have to walk around the road to get to it. This was only a minor inconvenience. Brilliant stay.

Great apartment in the heart of Lyndhurst, next door to a Bakery and Tesco Express, plus lots of lovely cafes. My Family and I had the best weekend visiting the new forest and would happily stay here again.

We had another really lovely stay here this was our second visit and well definitely be back again. The location is spot on, right on Lyndhurst High Street and an easy walk to shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you could need for your stay, plus plenty of hot water. Its also surprisingly quiet giRead moreven how central it is. Wonderful flat, perfect for visiting the village and local attractions. Very clean and well presented. Perfect for what we needed as a young family. The car park is a 5 minute walk away which was fine, just be mindful what you pack/carry.

The apartment is well proportioned with large bedrooms. Lots of space in the lounge diner and comfortable for nights in. The kitchen area was very clean with built-in appliances. The apartment is right on the high street which was great for walking and local amenities.

Our only concern was that the central heating was set to switch off at 5pm. As it was December it wasnt good enough. 9pm switch off would have been okay. Otherwise it was a comfortable flat. Its in a great location.

Nice flat in a superb location in Lyndhurst High Street. Great shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep and a central location to see all that the New Forest has to offer. Although the parking space is behind the building, you have to walk around the road to reach it, but it only takes 5 minutes.

This holiday let was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It is smack dab in the middle of the High Street, yet as it is the back apartment in the building, it is perfectly quiet. The layout was good, a very modern bathroom with great shower, and it had nice big open-plan kitchen living room. When we arrived there was a wee mix up (no-one's fauRead morelt), and the owner who we spoke to on the phone couldn't have been nicer. he sorted it out in a jiffy. A lovely apartment in a great location. A pity that the promised parking permit had not been renewed and, although we were told that no checks are carried out, the threat of a possible 95 was too great a risk. We had to pay in the local car park but that has a 20 hour limit, so ideas not having to use the car were dashed.

We spent a very pleasant few days in the apartment. It was lovely - it is much bigger than it looked in the photographs. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to eat in. The location of the apartment was great - a Tesco next door, co-op across the way, and a lot of tea rooms and restaurants around. Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment in the pretty village of Lyndhurst. Comes with everything you need to enjoy your stay, towels, hand soap, dishwasher tablets etc! Very lucky to have parking, even if it is a short walk to get to it, perfect base for exploring the New Forest, coast and beyond.

This was our first visit to the New Forest and it won't be our last. The flat was ideally situated as Lyndhurst is at the heart of the area so a perfect base. The parking place was a bonus and my husband very much enjoyed having breakfast at Peggys cafe. A basic but ideal property to stay at to explore Lyndhurst and the surrounding area. We really appreciated being so close to so many amenities in Lyndhurst as well as being only a five minute walk away from some good walks and a play area for our children!
