A stylish cottage located in the heart of the New Forest, a great base for the family to explore the nearby attractions.

This beautifully restored cottage, deep in the New Forest National Park, sleeps six guests, making it perfect for a large family holiday or getaway with friends. The property is located in the peaceful village of Sway yet is within easy reach of many of the New Forest’s highlights. Just 10 miles away you’ll find the picturesque village of Beaulieu; the sandy beaches of the south coast are within easy reach, and you’ll also be just 14.5 miles from the popular family attraction of Poultons Park.

The characterful cottage offers a home-away-from-home feel, with thoughtful touches to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. The property is decorated in neutral tones with contemporary accessories to create a calm and stylish environment. There are two places to unwind at the end of a busy day: a spacious lounge/diner and a snug, which is ideal for kids who want a little bit of independence. All three bedrooms boast delightful views out over the garden. A door from the light and bright kitchen leads to the patio, which is covered with a pretty pergola. To the rear of the cottage there is a large lawn, which is perfect for children to play on.

The quaint village of Sway has some delightful independent eateries and traditional pubs. From here it’s easy to hop on a train to Bournemouth or Southampton (approximately 25 minutes). You’ll find plenty to see and do in Beaulieu. The pretty village houses the National Motor Museum in the impressive grounds of Palace House. From here you can take a 2-mile riverside stroll to the historic hamlet of Buckler’s Hard. The secluded sands of Highcliffe Beach are just 6.5 miles away and here you can explore the elegant Grade I listed mansion, once inhabited by Mr Selfridge.

Lovely cottage, with low ceilings. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Wonderfully situated and friendly neighbours The local butchers was worth the trip alone

What a lovely place to stay ideally situated for both the forest and beaches. Lovely garden very well looked after with the advantage of outside sitting area perfect to relax after a busy day. The cottage was spotless. Thoroughly recommend the local pub for a lovely atmosphere.

Great place to stay with a large garden for play. We found Baytree cottage a very comfortable, spottlessly clean and well equipped house where we stayed with our party of 5 for a week. Sway is a quiet place but really good to explore the surroundings by foot, bike or car, and to come home to at the end of the day. Very friendly neighbours as well. A stunning cottage, decorated beautifully and with everything one could need for a short or long stay. Lovely garden to sit out in. Sway is a pretty village and is ideally located for visiting other areas of the New Forest. Would thoroughly recommend.

Weve just got back from our stay and are so happy we picked this cottage for our holiday. Its beautifully decorated and had everything we needed; kitchen equipment, appliances etc. The location is great; its positioned on a quiet road that opens up into the new forest at one end. It also has a large garden and private outdoor eating area that was pRead moreerfect for our evening meals. Fantastic cottage. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Nice welcome gifts. Ideal location in a charming village. Well equipped. Everything looks very new. Very large garden with covered pergola. The only thing to note is that it is a proper cottage so steep narrow staircase, low ceilings and sloping floors. If you are looking for an old cottage in the NewRead more Forrest that has been renovated and modernised to the highest standard with easy access to everything in the area this will be hard to beat. Comfortable and beautifully done up cottage in a quiet village with good facilities and in a great location to get to local beaches and places like Lymington. Large garden was great for older kids. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time here and could not recommend the cottage highly enough. It is cosy, very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden as well is huge and nice for sitting out. Sway is a lovely friendly village and the local pubs served excellent food. Great location too for exploring.

A beautifully refurbished cottage set in a very attractive garden in a friendly village. The welcome pack on arrival a lovely touch, much appreciated. Very well situated for everything in the New Forest. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.
