A charming riverside property with open fire and character features, ideal for a romantic break. Located within the much photographed Beaulieu Estate part of the New Forest National Park.
Set in a peaceful location at the end of a long gravel road this quirky character property is attached to a stunning former brickworks. With the New Forest National Park and Beaulieu River on your doorstep, you’re sure to enjoy exploring the many routes nearby which are ideal for walking, riding and cycling. Why not try your hand at water sports with a visit to the local activity centre which is within walking distance. Or if you prefer to sit back and relax, meander to nearby Buckler’s Hard, where you can enjoy drinks and a meal at the local pub, whilst watching the comings and goings on the river.
From the parking area a step down onto a brick paved terrace leads you to the main entrance. On entering the property you are met with an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. This stylish space has a comfortable lounge area which has a huge open fire making it the ideal spot to relax in front of the TV or watch a film on the DVD player. Rising from here is a narrow spiral staircase leading to a large open-plan bedroom with a stunning high vaulted ceiling, peppered with beams, some of which are low. This bright and airy bedroom has a super-king-size bed at one end and a single bed at the other end, the space divided by wardrobes. An en-suite bathroom is located centrally between both bed areas and has a bath, separate large walk-in shower and WC. There is a further single bed in a cosy mezzanine level above, reached by ladder style stairs, which has restricted head height and lovely glimpses of the Beaulieu River beyond.
Heading outside, you will find a pretty terrace to both the front and side of the property with garden furniture and BBQ. There is easy access just outside the front gates to the river and a shared jetty which is not enclosed (care to be taken with children). There is off-road parking for two cars at the front of the annexe which is shared with one other property.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
