An enchanting rural position in the peaceful hamlet of Emery Down, this property is within easy reach of some of the area’s best attractions, including the buzz of Bournemouth and the independent shops of Lymington.

Emery Down is a picturesque hamlet nestled in the New Forest National Park. The property is a great choice for those wanting to make the most of the spectacular landscape. The nearby town of Lymington is a wonderful spot for whiling away an afternoon meandering through the cobbled streets. Alternatively, head out along the Solent coastline taking in the breathtaking views before heading back to Emery Down and the local pub to relax and unwind. Bournemouth is just a short drive away and offers an array of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes, not forgetting the spectacular beaches that make a great day out.

The property has an inviting open-plan kitchen diner that’s fully equipped with all the essentials that guests require during their stay. Granite worktops and travertine floor tiles add to the country-style chic of the room. A stable door from the kitchen leads out to the patio garden. Through an archway there is a cosy lounge area with oak wood floors that add to the sense of warmth and character of this room which is perfect for a night in watching a DVD in front of the woodburner. This delightful living space is perfect for a romantic getaway.

Upstairs the property’s bedroom is a good size with a double bed and there is a fully tiled bathroom that contains a shower. The bedroom window reveals delightful views across the surrounding countryside.

The cottage had a nice homely feel about it and in a quiet area and within a short distance to places of interest. The forest areas are good for walks to see the wildlife with a pub nearby for a drink or a meal. We enjoyed the week very much.
