Stylish apartment in the centre of bustling Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest, a great base to explore the delights of the South Coast.

Relax on the roof terrace at this contemporary, Brockenhurst apartment for four and take in the views out over the village, with the canopies of the New Forest in the distance. One four-legged friend is also welcome at this two-bedroom property, which is set above a wine bar and enjoys excellent access to shops and restaurants. Head off on woodland walks and cycle rides from home or simply enjoy some quality time away together.

Climb the stairs up to the loft apartment and discover its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which leads on to the shared outside terrace. Whip up meals in the kitchen area then dine together at the table inside or out. Throw open the French doors on warm days as you unwind on the sofa and watch a little TV together. Both the bedrooms at the apartment have double beds and have been designed to offer exceptional style and great comfort. The bedrooms share the shower room. Outside, make the most of the very large rooftop terrace; take your coffee out here in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The apartment comes with a permit for one vehicle to park in the nearby car park.

Enjoy being right at the heart of colourful Brockenhurst, where you can shop, dine out and experience village life. Plan trips out into your picturesque surroundings either on foot or by bicycle. Make journeys down to the coast as well: Milford on Sea is 8 miles away and is a great place to swim, surf and paddleboard. Head to Lymington, 5 miles away, instead to wander its charming streets, potter in its shops or even take a ferry over to the Isle of Wight.

Great looking apartment but if you value your sleep this is not the place for you . Music from wine bar below too loud ( not helped by speaker being high up on the wall below the bedroom) and you can hear conversations of customers . Volume was turned down on 3rd day when I commented. Surprisingly NO cleaning products at all and no washing up liquiRead mored ( yes I know there's a dishwasher) . Would also have liked oven gloves. Fab location for walking in the forest. Hide

This is a lovely apartment in the heart of the New Forest. The only downside is that its quite noisy due to the wine bar below. We did expect this but its a shame the music was put on around 8am every morning, which can be heard in the bedroom above. Maybe some soundproofing would help. Apart from this, its really nice accommodation.

A great location and really clean and dog friendly. I would say possibly more suited to a couple than a family due to small lounge sitting area and small kitchen, as it wasnt comfortable for 2 adults and a teen to sit together. Although its above a bar the noise stops just after 10.30 so isnt really an issue unless you have young children. Excellent position for exploring and we found much to do. Three branches of the family used both Commoners and Verderers Lower Lofts. The shared patio meant it was easy to mix and eat outside together. Lots of shops in Brockenhurst for all food requirements, great bakers, butcher, greengrocer and Tesco. The place is clean, neat and new. Also, it is very well located which allows to quickly access walking and biking routes. There is the convenience of the wine bar if you need to grab quick lunch or dinner without reservation (food is very good and they have a wide range of good wines and cocktails). There was noise from the wine bar below us - music, loud conversation and furniture being moved. A shame because it is a nice flat - clean and comfortable and the parking permit was a nice gesture. The accommodation is modern, clean and central for a wonderful New Forest break away. Brockenhurst Station is only 5 minutes walk away and the village provides many places to eat out, pubs with outside areas. There are also good local shops and take aways. Excellent location, very clean property. No noise from wine bar below which is fabulous. The parking permit is great as you can use it in most of the New Forest car parks, although parking could be an issue in the height of the season as there is no allocated space for the apartment.

We had a fantastic week at The Commoners. Walks to the New Forest from the door and just a short drive to many beaches. Plenty to see and so. Accommodation was modern and stylish and recommend the swanky wine bar downstairs with good food. Would definitely recommend.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
