Great location, and clean. We could easily head off on walks from here and walk to the shops and cafes etc. in Brockenhurst. Some more clothing storage space would be useful, the pictures are misleading as half the wardrobe space is taken up by a boiler. The location of this property is perfect for being able to get out and about whilst having all the facilities you could want nearby. Tip: take salt and pepper etc with you, there were no 'basics', probably due to covid rules. Nice place for a short break.

Apartment in perfect location in the middle of Brockenhurst. Train Station only 10 minutes walk which takes you to many surrounding areas and bike hire next door to the station too. The accommodation was clean and well furnished for a holiday let. Being in the centre of Brockenhurt was useful especially with the parking voucher. If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
