A really delightful getaway from it all location. The cabin is well equipped and very comfortable, there are 2 great walks literally on the doorstep to Beaulieu in one direction, Bucklers Hard in the other. A good location to visit attractions / locations in the New Forest

The Crow's Nest was a great base for days out biking & walking: we loved being up among the trees, watching territorial squirrels fighting, hearing an owl hooting every evening & being woken by the sound of curlews. Strongly recommend the Cicerone guide to 30 walks in the New Forest for ideas, maps & directions. Allow at least 2 hours for the excelRead morelent museum at Bucklers Hard. Super-comfortable staycation destination only 2.5 hours from central London by train to Brockenhurst & bike from there. Hide

The crows nest cabin was like a home from home, everything you needed was supplied. The location was excellent, great for relaxing and also for exploring either on foot or by car. The welcome hamper was a nice touch. Would recommend to friends and family.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
