Gorgeous cottage, good size for a two bed with large garden. Warm, comfy and beautifully furnished. Great location with lovely walk along cliff top to paper shop, beautiful Highcliffe beach 10 minutes drive and the lovely Lymington nearby.

Daisy Cottage is a newly refurbished property and is beautifully finished throughout. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining area for 4 and a good sized garden. Unfortunately as the bedrooms are 1 double and 1 king it is more suitable for couples than a family of 4.

Daisy Cottage was a beautifully decorated cottage. It felt homely and had all the mod cons to make us have a comfortable stay. Location was perfect we headed one direction for all the new forest activities and the opposite to visit the lovely beaches.

Very nice cottage with very nice interiour, well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host does and supplies a lot of these little extras that make your stay comfortable, uncomplicated and let you feel welcome. Thumbs up.

Location

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
