This one storey property offers wonderful accommodation with an inviting lounge area complete with a logburner for a cosy night in watching a DVD. A set of double doors lead out to the patio seating area and gives the room a delightful sense of light and space. The intimate dining table for two is perfect for a romantic dinner. The country style kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a washing machine and dryer for those wet clothes after a day spent on the beach.

The property has a spacious bedroom with a double bed, built in storage and black-out blinds for those lazy mornings in bed. The tiled bathroom has a shower cubicle and guests can enjoy complimentary toiletries.

Outside the property there is a charming patio and decked seating area for enjoying those balmy summer evenings. Spectacular views across the undulating fields of the equestrian farm make this a lovely spot for simply sitting back and unwinding amidst the peaceful rural surrounds.

The cottage is in a great location. Cosy and well provisioned. There was cupcakes, biscuits soft drinks and milk available in the fridge on arrival. Lindy our host was friendly and extremely helpful. Full of local knowledge and ideas for places to eat and visit.

We received a lovely warm welcome to the cottage which was wonderful. The owner has thought of everything and added a few welcoming treats as well. The location of the cottage is ideal as it is just on the edge of the New Forest but amenities are very close by. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.

This was a lovely cottage based on an Equestrian farm on the outskirts of the village. It was very quiet and peaceful with views of the fields from the rear of the property. The location of the cottage, although on the eastern edge of the New Forest is near to many places of interest and turned out to be very well located. If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
