This welcoming cottage is ideally located to enjoy all the delights of the South Coast, close to Key Haven and Lymington some wonderful days out to be had here.

Enjoy the best of the coast and the forest from this airy retreat at Milford on Sea. Wander just 200 metres down to the beach to swim, paddle or go kayaking or canoeing from this one-bedroom holiday home for three. Plan days out in the New Forest, where you can go walking, cycling and watch the ponies that roam freely in the magnificent national park.

Step inside this modern cottage, decorated in neutral and nautical themes to reflect the seaside location. The light-filled kitchen has everything you need for your stay. At mealtimes, gather around the table next door to dine together and plan the following day’s activities. Venture upstairs to discover the inviting lounge, bedrooms and bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. There is also a separate WC up here. Watch TV or a DVD in the lounge or perhaps enjoy your favourite tunes on the Bluetooth soundbar. The main bedroom comes with a double bed, while the second room has a single sofa bed. On warm days, enjoy breakfast out in the courtyard before heading off on an adventure. Find allocated parking at the property too.

Go shopping and dine out in Milford on Sea; book a sea fishing trip or a paddleboard lesson. Take a stroll over to Hurst Castle, just 1 mile from your base. This former artillery fort dates back to the 16th century. Catch a ferry over to the Isle of Wight to see the Needles and Alum Bay, famous for its multi-coloured cliffs. Or plan a day out in Bournemouth, 15 miles away, to go to the beach, walk along the pier and get fish and chips before heading home.

Beautiful cottage. Had everything you could wish for when away from home. Very comfortable seating and bed. Spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

A very well appointed cottage with everything you could think of. The village is great with lots of eateries and it's about five minutes walk from the beach. The stairs in the cottage are reasonably steep but I would say not not a problem unless you have mobility issues or have had too much to drink! Driftwood Cottage significantly exceeded our expectations in terms of the high standards of cleanliness , comfort and provision of everything we could conceivably require. This is outstanding accommodation by any standard and we thank the owners for the privilege of staying at their property. Driftwood Cottage is very welcoming, clean, well maintained and very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. There are lots of nice touches. The location couldn't be better as right in the centre of the village, with its own parking space which is often a rarity.

Cottage had everything and more. Brought stuff with me that stayed packed. Just so nice,cosy and quiet. Shops restaurants etc all near so no need to use car. Local to New Forest too.

This is one of the best self catering properties we have ever stopped in. The owners have thought of everything with the property finished to a very high standard. In addition, the location is excellent for all local attractions and we would highly recommend it to any potential customers.

Lovely cottage, beautifully furnished and superbly equipped. Perfectly located for local walks, shops and pubs. Not far from all towns and attractions the New Forest has to offer.

Well equipped magnificent appartement. I wouldn't call it a cottage since only the kitchen was downstairs; everything else upstairs. In spite of the pictures our accomodation didn't have a terrace. So no outdoor living such as breakfast, drinks of dood was possible. There were 2 deckchairs present but we had to sit on the driveway, no very nice. BuRead moret overall the place was lovely and we had a very pleasant stay. Hide

A lovely clean and well equipped property. Everything was provided for a really enjoyable time and a welcome gift of Prosecco and biscuits. Lots of places are only a short walk into the village to eat and drink and the beach is also only a 10 minute walk. Would highly recommend this property.
