This is without doubt one of our very best holiday cottages we have stayed in. The heated pool was a fantastic feature and we were in it every day, both on the couple of sunny days and on those that were a bit more iffy. The location is great for exploring the New Forest, Lymington and the beaches. We found a particularly nice beach at Southbourne Read moreand some wonderful dog walks around Elkhams Grave. The cottage was perfect, clean and well-equipped. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Hide

Beautiful cottage, had everything we could possibly ask for. Everything was thought of and catered for. The garden was beautiful and the pool was warm regardless of rain or shine! Location was great, Brockenhurst was an easy 15 min drive away and the beach was less than 10. Would be back in a heart beat!

Lovely cottage, shame it's so close to a busy road which has no footpath, and the vehicles do not stick to the speed restriction, 30mph. Without the footpath it made it difficult, if not impossible to take a walk from the cottage without using the car.

I really enjoyed this beautiful cottage and its equally beautiful pool and garden. Taller people need to be aware that there are some quite low ceilings and heads were banged! The cottage had everything and the bedding and towels were of very good quality. If I had one negative it would be not able to walk anywhere from the cottage; as there is no Read morepathway and would have been too dangerous to walk along with children, due to the speed of the traffic - the car was the only safe option sadly Hide

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
