A beautiful spacious well equipped cottage in the New Forest, with lovely walks on your doorstep. Wild ponies and donkeys roam freely and are particularly fond of gathering outside the cottage's front gate. Would highly recommend.

Fab time at this cottage close to pub, Fordingbridge and short drive to Paultons Park and other places of interest. Host left us some milk and a lovely cake upon our arrival. Was nice to sit in the conservatory and lovely to look out to the secluded garden during the day & eve....though helped with the beautiful weather we had!

This house was perfect for my family, there were 10 of us and there was plenty of room for all. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the living area spacious and well laid out. The conservatory was very nice to relax in the evening with good access to the garden.

We enjoyed a 3 generation family Christmas at the cottage. It suited well a large party and the alternative options of using the cosy lounge or the conservatory were useful, in addition to the large dining table. Tanya was a very helpful hostess with information before we arrived and then when we lost our keys during our stay. There are often ponieRead mores or donkeys outside the gate who are friendly. It is right behind the pub, no more than 25 metres away: don't go too far down the adjacent lane. Hide

Excellent, spacious house, well equipped with a large secluded garden. It is behind a pub with good food and beer and a large childs' play area. The location would be better described as behind the pub rather than 100m down the lane.

A really good space for a large group. Huge kitchen so able to have several working in there at once without getting under someone elses feet! Wonderful conservatory. Location is brilliant. Pub within 100 yards and lots of places to walk without needing to get the car out. Really cant fault it. Our group of 7 had a very enjoyable week there.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
