This charming bungalow, found in the heart of the New Forest, is the perfect place to stay for nature and animal lovers alike. Wild ponies wander the land just off this property and can be seen from the windows. There are endless walks to choose from, as well as cycle routes to explore. This property also welcomes your four-legged pals along to join in the adventure and, with ample seating space, it is the ideal place to return to after a day out exploring the National Park.

The hub of this property is the lounge/diner that leads on to a sunroom at the rear. This whole space is light and airy and invites you to take a seat and relax. Whether you are settling down for the evening to enjoy a family film or sipping your morning coffee overlooking the beautiful garden from the sunroom, this bungalow is designed to relax you. The property has been decorated with a wooden theme throughout and has a charming, brick-exposed wall in the lounge framing the fireplace. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a further two bathrooms.

Just 6 miles outside Fordingbridge you'll find Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve. With the area being perfect for birdwatching and providing some fantastic scenic walking routes, it is a great way to spend your day. There are even certain walking routes that allow dogs. Fordingbridge itself is a small riverside town and has a selection of pubs to choose from for an evening or lunchtime meal out. 4.5 miles away is Hockey's Farm, where you can meet the animals and enjoy a bite to eat at the cafe.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely Cottage, very well equipped and very comfortable. It was a good base in the New Forest to cycle and walk from with a couple of good pubs within walking distance .

Lovely cottage, in a lovely , quiet part of the New Forest. The cottage had all the amenities you could want, secure garden for our dogs (although a smaller dog could possibly squeeze under the gates). A very comfortable bungalow in a beautiful location, with walks straight from the door. You never know who you will meet on the quiet road outside the cottage, ponies, donkeys and cows all stopped by for a visit. A gorgeous secure garden for our dog too.

Ideally situated to tour the new forest. Quiet location, walks on the doorstep. Lots of lovely animals passing by. Pubs and Hockley farm shop which serves lovely food within 5 mins drive. The cottage was very pleasant as it was but since the owners have added an ensuite to the main bedroom and a relaxation area to the second bedroom, they have managed to add an extra dimension to the cottage .

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
