Situated in the village of Frogham, the cottage is found in a quintessential New Forest location, where the ponies and donkeys roam freely about the village. You’ll find everything you need in the village for basic amenities without jumping in the car, including a tea room, a village pub and a garden shop. The larger riverside town of Fordingbridge lies just over a mile away, with a larger choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, while Ringwood is also close by. Within a 35 minutes drive are the cities of Bournemouth, Salisbury and Southampton, each with something different to offer. Guests will be sure to make the most of the New Forest on their doorstep, with its choice of unspoilt woodland walks, bike rides and other outdoor activities.
This accommodation is arranged all on one level, and upon entry you will be immediately greeted by entrance hall, leading to the spacious lounge/diner. A large and open space, the lounge has everything you need to relax, including comfortable furniture, a TV/DVD to watch and a hi-fi to listen to. The dining area is found separately, with a dining table large enough for meals for all occasions, and leads through to the sun room. Here there are even more sofas to relax on, while you can enjoy the views looking out to the garden – the sun room also has doors leading outside. The kitchen contains everything that guests may need to fully enjoy their stay, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The property has two double bedrooms, each carefully decorated, as well as a good-sized bathroom with an electric shower over bath and WC, and a shower room with WC.
The pretty garden has to be one of the highlights of this property, and features a patio area complete with seating, perfect for enjoying a drink or meal in the sun. This then overlooks the rest of the garden, laid to lawn with additional seating and a netted water feature as the centrepiece. Ample off-road parking is available.
Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.
