The Cottage was above and beyond what we expected. A beautiful comfortable house with lovely furniture and fittings and a lovely Kitchen/diner with so much equipment. Ideal for 8 people. We had food delivered on the Friday by Tesco, which was excellent. Would love to go back

Fantastic location , wonderful accommodation , but not for asthmatics or those with allergies . Some rooms not useable for asthmatics due to dusty soft furnishings and chemical freshener used on them.

Great house. Great location. Perfect for a family getaway. The New Forest is on your doorstep as are Lyndhursts shops, bars and restaurants. Grandparents, parents and our 3 boys had a fab time exploring all the area had to offer. The house itself ticked all the boxes especially the layout of the bedrooms - super family friendly!

The cottage was lovely and the location was ideal. The layout was good too with plenty of spaces. And spotting deer in the garden early in the morning and evening made it perfect

This accomodation is part of a big old house with neighbours close by. However it is a very quiet location despite being literally on the edge of town. The garden is relaxing with deer often seen roaming the grounds. The rooms are adequate, but I'd say 6 people max or it could be quite crowded, esp in kitchen/dining room. House is well presented, hRead moreas a welcoming feel to it and the location is ideal. Recommend the adj Thai restaurant, we had a takeaway and it was v good. Lot of good pubs nearby. Hide

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
