Holmfield house was perfect for our stay in the New Forest. It was ideally located just next to the main high street but at the same time not far from the forest and walking trails. The house itself was lovely, very spacious and more than enough room for a group of 7 adults. Would highly recommend.

House was excellent, bags of character - cottage/country feel - ideal for Christmas period (we were there for period over Christmas day). Kids loved it (3, 7, 9 yrs old). Great location. Walk to shops - pub(s) - new forest. Rooms all good. Kitchen well stocked. Nice touch on arrival - with welcome gifts. Also, Christmas tree was all in place too. ORead morenly 15 mins drive to Lymington (which has bigger supermarket if required (Waitrose)). Overall a Thumbs up. Hide

The lady who called prior to our visit was pretty stroppy. That wasn't pleasant. But everything else was fabulous. House was clean, super well equipped, amazing location, marvellous.

Very spacious 5-bed house in walking distance of Limewood Hotel. We had a great time. High quality of interior decoration and an enchanting garden for children.

Quiet, spacious, comfortable. Fantastic location - minutes, no - seconds - from Lyndhurst High Street which has quirky shops, lots of tea shops, several restaurants, great butcher's, but only one small supermarket. Just across the road is an entry to the New Forest, no worries about parking - just walk! Ponies, donkeys, cows on your doorstep. Saw dRead moreeer in the communal garden several times. Kitchen a bit small for 8 people but that's a tiny quibble. Hide
