This contemporary-style studio accommodation has everything you need and more for an unforgettable romantic break. The property is the perfect size for two and has a gorgeous secluded garden to sit in at the end of a fun day exploring. Situated just 2 miles north of Lymington, it is in the ideal location to explore the best parts of the New Forest. Head into Lymington on a Saturday to explore its popular street market or make your way the Keyhaven ferry, just 5 miles away, to see the fortress and sights of Hurst Castle.

The property is located adjacent to the owners', but this does not affect how secluded it is. As you enter the studio, you'll notice just how light and airy the space is, with its large windows and bi-folding doors overlooking your private garden and allowing for the natural sunlight to come in. The open-plan layout has elegant wooden decor throughout, creating a cosy feel in this contemporary setting. Enjoy a hearty breakfast sitting at the dining table overlooking the garden before heading out for a day's adventure. Step into the bathroom to find its double shower inviting you in after a day out walking.

The New Forest is the perfect place to visit for an active holiday, whether you prefer a light stroll or a hike through the villages and along the coast. You can also explore the area on horseback or bike to give you a different perspective. If you love food, then Lymington has plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from for an intimate meal for two. Alternatively, head to the local market to buy and sample some fresh, local produce. Hockey's Farm Shop, a bit further away at 20 miles, is also worth the visit for some lunch in the cafe and a chance to meet the animals.

Friendly welcome. Very well equipped cottage. Garden is fully enclosed and very safe for our Gordon setter. Great location and very easy to visit New Forest attractions. Whilst there are pubs in walking distance we felt that with the darker evenings and lack of pavement in some areas it would be safer to drive.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
