The house is slightly off the beaten track but has views to die for! The upstairs is really well presented (its an upside down house), although a couple of the bedrooms downstairs are slightly dated. The owners have thought of everything, and there is no equipment or facility that the house doesnt have. It was beautifully clean, and things like a fRead moreresh cake on arrival were a really nice touch. The beach is pebbles, and the village about a mile walk down the hill. Really enjoyed staying. What an amazing house. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Just across the road from the beach with lovely walks in both directions and a super set of shops in Milford five minutes away. The little touches on arrival (sponge cake, chocolates etc) made it perfect and Abbie was always available to help when needed. Thank you.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
