A stylish property located in the beautiful town of Lymington. An ideal couples retreat, a base to discover all the delights on offer on the South Coast.

Enjoy a romantic getaway in this charming property, on the southern edge of the New Forest National Park. The property is perfectly placed for outdoor adventure, with miles of walking and cycling tracks at your fingertips. Journey into the national park to discover the historic delights of Beaulieu (7.5 miles), or head to the coast to blow away the cobwebs with a stroll along the sand at Mudeford (10.5 miles).

The chic annexe, situated within the owner’s grounds, is bright and airy, thanks to the large double doors which open onto the garden. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is full of elegant touches to make your stay feel extra special, with flashes of turquoise to really bring the space to life. Relax on the plump sofa in front of the TV or rustle up a tasty meal for two in the kitchen to enjoy with a glass of wine at the dining table or in the garden. At the end of the day, climb the vibrant stairs to the mezzanine level overlooking the lounge, where you’ll find the double bedroom. The enclosed outdoor area is a lovely place to unwind, with a choice of seating where you can curl up with a book.

The pretty town of Lymington is well worth exploring. You’ll find a great selection of independent eateries and on Saturdays, there’s a fantastic street market with over 100 stalls. If you’re into outdoor swimming, then the seawater baths are a must (2 miles). Located near the yacht club, they’re the oldest in the UK and date back to 1833. Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway (11.5 miles) makes a relaxing afternoon excursion. Stroll through the colourful themed gardens packed with rhododendrons and azaleas before taking a ride on the narrow-gauge steam railway.

A fully equiped cottage in a lovely quiet village with just a church, small convience shop, fish and chips and a pub which does a lovely Sunday roast. With the coast only a short walk away, made for a perfect location.

We had a lovely stat at Little Moorings. It is well situated about a 15 minute walk into Lymington. If you come with a dog there is the common just over the road for a walk. The cottage is well equipped and very clean. There is a Tesco express down the road and excellent takeaways to hand. Will definitely stay again
