The ideal bolthole for a relaxing break, this welcoming contemporary house is set in the heart of Fordingbridge, with a great selection of amenities and the beautiful New Forest National Park nearby.

Known as the northern gateway to the New Forest, Fordingbridge is the perfect setting for your getaway. The River Avon flows through this vibrant town, so there are plenty of riverside walks and picnic spots. Ideal for couples or small families, this homely, red brick townhouse is a relaxing base to return to after exploring the New Forest. Wander around Fordingbridge’s independent shops and historical architecture before enjoying an al fresco meal in the sunny courtyard.

Step through the front door and make yourself at home in the comfortable, open-plan lounge/diner. The soft textiles and neutral tones help create a relaxing atmosphere. Curl up on the stylish sofas and put a show on the TV, or open up the door to the garden and read a book in the fresh air. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing delicious meals, which you can enjoy at the relaxed dining table. There is also a convenient WC on the ground floor. Head upstairs to the attractive bedrooms, a double and a single, both thoughtfully furnished to ensure you have a restful night’s sleep. Stay refreshed by taking a warming shower in the tiled bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Make the most of sunny afternoons by enjoying a cold beverage in the courtyard. There is an allocated space for one car at the front of the property.

The local area has a rich history, from the remains of the Rockbourne Roman Villa to the Elizabethan grandeur of Breamore House. Outdoor enthusiasts have endless walking opportunities, including Moors Valley, Ringwood Forest, and walks into the New Forest such as popular routes around Godshill. You can even reach the coast, with just 17.5 miles to Bournemouth – treat yourselves to a traditional day out at the beach complete with ice creams.

Comfortable, modern house with excellent equipment. Very quite location but within easy walking reach of the shops and other amenities in the town. Additional bonus was that there were public electric car chargers in the nearby public car park.

Clean, modern, comfortable accommodation in central Fordingbridge for couple or small family. Parking near front door. We used the bus to go into Salisbury and also used the New Forest tour bus which stops in the town centre. We like having shops and eating places in easy walking distance of accommodation.
