This is our second visit because we loved it so much the 1st time. Spotless, comfortable, cosy and stylish. Well thought out lovely garden - perfect for dogs. The location is fantastic for car free wandering to the beach and cafes plus Highcliffe castle is a short walk through the nature reserve or along the beach. Just perfect.

Absolutely wonderful cottage could not fault it at all, the best place we have stayed in by far and we have stayed in some nice places. Only problem is it booked up so much but understandably because it just perfect. Such a lovely area. If you manage to book it you certainly will not be disappointed.

What a lovely bungalow to stay in! The dcor is beautiful and everything we needed was there (apart from a hair dryer, but that was ok). Only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and also to a convenience store. We tried the nearby Chinese talk-away and it was fine, also went to the castle caf for lunch - very reasonable - and the pub on the quay has a gooRead mored selection of food. Would love to go again. If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
