The house has everything you could possibly need and is spacious enough for a large group to spread out. We were a family group with two young children and it was a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are enormous and there are walks in the New Forest and ponies just outside the gates. We would definitely recommend it.

This is an absolutely beautiful spacious home with a wonderful feel to it. Gorgeous log fires and spacious grounds. We were aged from 69 to 4 years and everything worked so well with space for everyone to either all be together or for Grand Parents and Parents to find somewhere for a bit of restorative peace. A very beautiful property, clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Although dog friendly, it would have been useful to have been helpful to know about the rules for dogs before booking it. Also, we would suggest that all plumbing is tested before guests arrive. The shower in the master bedroom suite was not working for the entire weeks' stay

Lovely light & spacious home with plenty of room for all the family to spread out. Good location for doing things in the Nee Forest and only 30-40mins from the beach.

A wonderfully elegant property just like having your own secluded mansion. We loved the living room with patio doors which led to the outdoor eating area. We had 3 barbecues in the week! Main bedrooms beautiful. Kitchen full of all mod cons. We loved the water/ice dispenser. Didn't even use most of the downstairs rooms. Being asked for a 500 deposiRead moret totally unnecessary as it creates an apparent lack of trust where none need exist. Hide

Great stay in a lovely house. Well equipped with some quirky television cabinets! Lots of places to sit and chat or get away from everyone for a bit of quiet time. Had an issue with a shower, which was very quickly sorted out and didn't cause us any problems, brilliant service.

Location is isolated so ideal to get away from it all and you're own transport is a must. Suitable for more grown up families we suggest purely as it is so well decorated I would worry about constantly watching out for young children

Location

Note: As the postcode is used to identify the general area of the property, it may not always reflect its precise location, therefore please only use this map as a guide.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
