We had a fantastic week at the house. It is a really lovely, well equipped property with loads of room and massive grounds. I would love to go back again. - My only complaint would be the height of the bed in the second bedroom, its about 1m high. There is also no mention of the steps down into the attached ensuite, which may be an issue for older Read morepeople, especially if they are getting up in the night. The bed would definitely be an issue. Hide

A lovely, secluded house down a track in the New Forest. Very comfortable and well equipped inside with a huge amount of space. Plenty of bathrooms. Huge family kitchen with settees and bifold doors to garden. Light and airy. Grounds beautiful and extensive. Just right for people wanting to avoid cars and bike along tracks or walk.

Rightmans Place is a wonderful property in a very peaceful and picturesque setting. We enjoyed the large outdoor areas for family games and just chilling with a drink or two. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and all the bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless. We all hope to be back again next year!

Nice property in the middle of new forest. Whilst large it is not suitable for some due to failure to properly describe access issues in parts of house. Virtually no mobile reception and WiFi was temperamental during our stay so may be a problem for some. Otherwise reasonably ok.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
