Lovely location, very peaceful with nice pub nearby for a meal out and close to the amenities of Burley and its beautiful open spaces. The 2 year old in our party especially enjoyed seeing the ponies in the paddock at bottom of the garden. Well equipped, particularly for very young children. Toy box in garden a nice touch and excellent garden furniRead moreture. Bedrooms very comfortable and loved the kitchen and snug. Ideal for families, excellent base for exploring New Forest and visiting the coast. Hide

Lovely property in great location. New owners should not be using the previous owners information folder which contained their contact details despite selling nearly a year ago. A review dated 8th October 2021 referred to a very generous welcome pack There was nothing on our arrival, not even a pint of milk.

The cottage is in a perfect location for walks from the house and we had a lovely break. The cottage is very much as it appears in the photographs and it's a really comfortable stay. In a quiet location but close to lots of amenities and good pub/hotel to walk to in 2 mins. We would love to return.

What a lovely cottage in a tranquil and peaceful setting. We went out everyday to different places of interest and when we returned we felt like we were coming home. There was five of us including an almost 3 year old and the cottage was so spacious that we never felt on top of each other. Couldn't improve anything it was just perfect.

The house is delightful. The kitchen was well stocked & the property had ample space - with the two sitting rooms catering for those who wanted to watch 'the match' & those who didn't! The garden was peaceful & not over looked at all & our grandchild was delighted with the playhouse & the toys provided. The location was perfect for us & we hope to Read morereturn one day! Hide

We had a wonderful stay at Rosedale Cottage :) We had absolutely everything we needed. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and we had no issues at all. We felt so at home. The cot room was a definite bonus as it meant we didn't have to have our 18month old in with us so we got a peaceful sleep! We also had a courtesy call from the owners aRead mores the people in the property previously had had an issue with the blinds? But we didn't notice it what ever it was! :) Fantastic holiday- thank you! Hide

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
