Located on the edge of the New Forest, everything is just a short distance away. We really enjoyed our stay, the house had everything we needed, was spacious, clean, cosy. It felt just like home, which was exactly what we were after.

The property was beautiful in every aspect. Equipped with everything you could possibly want/need. Comfort beyond measure. Garden lovely and tub Devine. Beds so comfy and cosy. The coast is a short walk or drive away. Catherine and Sam were so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave this property and area. Loved it

"Waters Retreat" was a beautifully appointed, well equipped house, lodge and garden. It is well situated for visiting the local area including the coast and new forest. Whilst this house isnt in the middle of nowhere it was a little far away for our liking to Milford on Sea etc meaning we spent more time driving than we would have liked. On the plus side - the hot tub is a good addition along with the extra cabin in the garden.

A wonderful clean family home which easily sleeps seven plus our dog. The place had a great flow to it and the log cabin and hot tub were an amazing addition that give the place a really special holiday feel. The perfect location close to towns, the beach and the open moorland was the icing on the cake.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
