Traditional country cottage a short stroll from the village pub. Explore the New Forest National Park which is five minutes from the cottage making this perfect  for outdoor enthusiasts.

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, this property is a great base for making the most of the surrounding countryside. Guests can hire bikes and head along the numerous cycling trails which cover the New Forest, or head out on foot and enjoy a lovely walk that finishes at the local pub. Spend the evening down in Lymington Quay, meandering the cobbled streets and exploring the independent shops of this pretty coastal town. For keen sailors, the nearby Sailing Centre in Lymington is a great place to learn.

The property has an inviting lounge which is a perfect spot for relaxing with a good book in front of the woodburner after a day spent outdoors. Wood floors add to the country style warmth of this charming property. A dining area provides a lovely space for entertaining and the open fire creates a wonderful ambience. The property has a lovely kitchen that’s well equipped with all the essentials for cooking up a storm. A utility room provides a great space for storing sandy flip flops and buckets and spades.

Upstairs there are four charming bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a beautiful super king-size sleigh bed and is decorated with neutral tones that add to the relaxing feel of the room. Two of the bedrooms contain single beds which can be joined together to create two king-size beds. The final bedroom in the property is a cosy single bedroom and there is a main bathroom with a shower over bath.

Outside there is a pretty garden and a patio area with a BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Home from home. Well situated for exploration of the New Forest and nearby coast. The cottage is well equipped with quality appliances and enough crockery, cutlery, glassware etc to cater for the needs of everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a really lovely quality holiday cottage where the owners have paid great attention to detail and comfort. There is a pleasant fully enclosed patio garden ideal for small children and dogs. The location is brilliant with dog walks, Lymington. & Brockenhurst within easy reach. There is a wealth of information available in the cottage for walkRead mores, bike rides, local attractions, restaurants etc & the owners sent us lots of detail well in advance of our stay. Yew Tree Cottage is in an ideal location. Off a main road giving easy access to nearby towns villages and attractions but on a quiet road with other lovely residential properties. The cottage is extremely clean with the best quality beds and bed linen. The kitchen was very well-equipped with plenty of utensils, crockery etc for 6 people. The Cider Press was perfect for our family holiday. Comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, the lovely big bedrooms were ideal for travel cots and a toddler in tow! We would highly recommend staying here, you couldn't wish for a lovelier cottage.

Such a lovely clean and welcoming cottage for families and dogs! The attention to detail and the extra special touches make it a home from home - the owners couldnt do more to make you feel welcome. A beautiful spacious cottage, extremely well equipped and comfortable, in a quiet road, a short walk from the Forest, with a pub less than 5 minutes walk away. The centre of the village with shops, butcher, chemist and cafe, plus another pub just a few minutes drive.

This was a beautifully and sympathetically renovated New Forrest cottage with 4 large doubles and a single. It had everything you would need in the cottage and 2 wonderful outdoor areas for eating and just listening to the Bird song. It was absolutely immaculately prepared and the wine, lemon cake and chocolate very appreciated, Max (the dachshund)Read more loved his treat. The cottage is ideal for a New Forest holiday, just a short walk along the road and you are in the open forest. Beautiful. The cottage was lovely and so comfortable. The welcome cake and wine was also amazing. Will definitely be rebooking

The Cider Press was one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. It was clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed for a stay in the New Forest The pub was perfect and just a short stroll away. Would highly recommend it.

The cottage has a wonderful homely feel with little touches of luxury (cake & flowers)! The kitchen is very well equipped which is great as we love self catering using local produce. Dogs are catered for with bowl, towel, poop bags & treats. Location os great for everywhere.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
