Traditional country cottage a short stroll from the village pub. Explore the New Forest National Park which is five minutes from the cottage making this perfect  for outdoor enthusiasts.

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, this property is a great base for making the most of the surrounding countryside. Guests can hire bikes and head along the numerous cycling trails which cover the New Forest, or head out on foot and enjoy a lovely walk that finishes at the local pub. Spend the evening down in Lymington Quay, meandering the cobbled streets and exploring the independent shops of this pretty coastal town. For keen sailors, the nearby Sailing Centre in Lymington is a great place to learn.

The property has an inviting lounge which is a perfect spot for relaxing with a good book in front of the woodburner after a day spent outdoors. Wood floors add to the country style warmth of this charming property. A dining area provides a lovely space for entertaining and the open fire creates a wonderful ambience. The property has a lovely kitchen that’s well equipped with all the essentials for cooking up a storm. A utility room provides a great space for storing sandy flip flops and buckets and spades.

Upstairs there are four charming bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a beautiful super king-size sleigh bed and is decorated with neutral tones that add to the relaxing feel of the room. Two of the bedrooms contain single beds which can be joined together to create two king-size beds. The final bedroom in the property is a cosy single bedroom and there is a main bathroom with a shower over bath.

Outside there is a pretty garden and a patio area with a BBQ and garden furniture for al fresco dining.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We had such a lovely weekend away, the cottage was gorgeous and we loved the finishing touches like the flowers and cake that had been left for us. They really thought of everything! The rooms were great, and beds were comfy. All in all, it was a fabulous weekend break. Wed love to go back at some point.

Heavenly beds, very clean and fresh, fabulous location; many activities around to cram into a weekend, most definitely enough for a week or more, everything you could need has been thought of, extra special touches made it feel extremely welcoming, lovely local pub at the end of the road, children well catered for, excellent communication from the Read moreowners who seemed lovely and accommodating. This cottage is delightful, the owners are the same. It is ultra clean and super comfy with everything you need. Lovely welcome pack on arrival for both humans and dog! It is very central for beaches, forest or towns and has many excellent, local pubs and restaurants. We would use again and highly recommend for a perfect holiday.

This was among the nicest cottages we've ever rented. We're a family of five (kids 12,10 & 2) and all five of us loved it! Perfect location, super welcome cake (cookies, wine...) and ace correspondence from the owners. Spent a week here, could have easily spent a fortnight.
