Hottest week of the summer but the cottage was lovely and cool. 150 yards to the right a very nice pub which provided good value for money food, 150 yards to the left you are in the forest which had plenty of places to explore with the dog.

Nice place, great for a base to stay in New Forest. Not great for tall people as slanted ceilings in bedrooms and low doorways. Host was very helpful with directions as slightly tricky to find. But needs to drop pin on Google Maps as this would be easier! Kitchen has all you need, lounge was comfortable. Firm beds and very soft pillows.
